We had a terrific double Thanksgiving (one on Thursday with Wes' family and one on Saturday with my family). It was so fun to be with our families. We missed Lindsey, Tyrel, Ryan and Alyssia though! And our kids certainly missed your attention too! It's nice to be home though, after a six day vacation. Now it's just getting caught up on wash, cleaning, decorating, etc.
We got our Christmas tree last night. Jazlyn loved decorating it. It's just perfect that Matsen is old enough to gaze at the tree, but not old enough to crawl to it and pull it over on him. I'm sure next year will be a whole new ordeal!
Not sure what Jazlyn is doing in this picture, but I thought it was cute, nonetheless.

Here's my in-laws with their four lovely grandchildren. What an impossible feat to get all four kids (and their grandparents) to look at the camera at the same time, let alone smile. This will have to suffice!
Jazlyn and Alex have soo much fun playing together. She was soooo excited to see him!!
It was so fun to see Matsen and Emma already interacting....as much as they can at this age. Matsen enjoyed sampling Emma's shoe and Emma was already being buds with him.

Sounds like you guys had a lively time as ususal. It is so cute seeing Matsen in all those photos. He is so bright eyed (no that he hasn't always been) but he looks like such a big boy! And Jazlyn is adorable as always!
glad you had fun seeing both families. i wish we were able to do that. we're going to NY in july '09 and we saw sam's family in aug in Idaho. any fun plans for christmas? we're doing our own little christmas again this year. it should be fun.
