Our fun week!

Wes took the week off of work this week, originally so we could go to Idaho. But long story short, we decided to stay around here and do some fun things as a family. We had a great time. I uploaded the pictures in reverse order. So for a backwards review, here's what we did. Yesterday we went to the Enchanted Forest and the kids (especially Jazlyn) loved it! Her excitement was definitely worth the drive and price!

Here's the kids coming out of the Alice in Wonderland white rabbit's secret passage.
Hansel and Gretel's candy house...
Now rewind to the day before when we were in Newport and went to the aquarium.

Unfortunately the pictures in the aquarium turned out pretty blurry.

We celebrated Kelston's 1st birthday while we were at the beach. We don't do too much for our kids' first birthdays....the cake is enough to get them excited.
I know I should be saying I can't believe he's 1, but since our other kids started walking at one and he's been walking for 2 months already, it seems like he should've been one awhile ago. A little about our Kelston buddy. He is PASSIONATE and I mean PASSIONATE about FOOOOOOD!!! I've never seen a one year old who can eat so much. In no exaggeration at all, he will eat more than Jazlyn and Matsen combined for dinner sometimes. And he is NEVER full. I just finally have to cut him off and tell him we're done, much to his dismay. The good thing about this is so far he's only turned down a couple of foods--he'll pretty much eat anything, which is awesome! He adores Jazlyn and Matsen and loves to play with them and they love to make him laugh. He's just started dancing and it looks just like Jazlyn's dance she did at that age. It's so cute. He also loves stuffed animals and has a yellow stuffed giraffe that he adores. He also loves his binky and thumb. He also is a daddy's boy. We sure love having this little guy in our family!

What a great week! That is great that he is such a great eater. Carter doesn't eat much so it is always a bit hard. Glad he had a great birthday!

Glad your family had fun together. Kelston is so handsome! He'd get along great with Katie who also loves stuffed animals and FOOD! Her nickname at our house is Little Miss Piggy :)

I'm glad you've had a fun week as a family. Little buddy looks so grown up eating his cupcake. Its hard to believe he's already one.
We missed you at Dworshak. Maybe another year. Love you, Mom

It looks like fun! And, enjoy the food selectionwhile it's good. Ryley was an awesome eater, and now he lives on peanut butter... Who knew!

For os outsiders, it's hard to believe Kelston is one already. The Hansel and Gretel house is amazing.
